Is POSTURELIST a moderated mailing list ?
In opposition to some mailing lists, POSTURELIST
is a non-moderated list, and more precisely a semi-moderated one: that means
that all emails send to POSTURELIST are forwarded automatically and
immediatly to all the members of the list, without any previous control.
POSTURELIST is completely free regarding any censorship, but calls
for "self-discipline" and good sense of every one. In case of misuse, the
POSTURELIST administrator(s) will warn the concerned member(s) and,
in case of repetition, the member will be removed from the list.
How to avoid virus and trojans in POSTURELIST ?
Viruses and Trojans can infect a mailing list,
by looking at your own address book where the one of posturelist is stored,
by sending on the list attached files. Virus codes are binary codes and can't
penetrate into a text document like ASCII texts, so they arre attached to
them. Never open such a file whose origine is not clear. Be sure about the
origin (the sender) before using it, and to that at your own risks.
The best way to avoid virus is to install and update before any conncetion
to the net an antivirus program. Some of them are freeware.
Is it possible to use publicity in POSTURELIST ?
Advertising is
NOT allowed into POSTURELIST. We mean by advertising any sales
promotion on products, internet site or mailing list inside the subject, the
body part or the signature of an email. But it is possible to scientificaly
discuss about commercial products, of course.
Is it possible to send attachment files in POSTURELIST
Yes, It is not allowed to send attached files with your
emails to POSTURELIST, but remember that some members can have low
connections and don't want to download big emails with no interest (maybe).
If you want to send a big text, picture or file to all
the others members, please send it to the administrator of the list,
HERE, and ask him to put it on a special web page for all the other
members on order to dowload it. The URL of this special web page will be:
http://www.posturo.net/posturelist_files.htm.
This file will be present as long as you want for all the other members
(look ther, there are some).
What must I do if I change my email address ?
You must first unsubscribe with your old one, then subscribe again with the new one.
