Résumé : Importance du synoptophore dans les investigations et le traitement des troubles de la vision binoculaire, notamment des relations sensorielles binoculaires périphériques. L'auteur mentionne l'importance de la taille des tests employés. Pour l'investigation, la technique consiste à dépister les possibilités binoculaires du meilleur au pire alors que le traitement est entrepris à partir des relations sensorielles existantes chez le malade. L'auteur demande une amélioration des performances de l'appareil pour une utilisation plus précise pour l'investigation, soit une image rétinienne identique pour tous et parallèlement souhaite un équipement plus homogène des synoptophore en tests de toute taille pour chaque degré de vision binoculaire.

Summary : The importance ot the synoptophore in the investigations and treatment of binocular vision troubles, notably the sensorial binocular peripherical relations. The author mentions the importance of the size of the tests employed. For the investigation, the technic consists of finding the binocular possibilities from the better to the worst while the treatment is undertaken from the patient's existing sensory relations. The author asks an improvement of the performances of the synoptophore for a more precise utilisation from the investigation, the same for all and so would like the equipment more homogeneous of the synoptophore in tests of all size for each degree of binocular vision
