Résumé : Redoutée et peu décrite, la diplopie en conditions naturelles est due au refus de la correspondance rétinienne anormale, quand le scotome fonctionnel des strabiques concomitants a une petite dimension. L'image diplopique est perçue latérale et estompée, sans impliquer d'erreur de localisation. Quelques indications visent à atténuer la gêne de la diplopie tenace.

Summary : In natural condition diplopia is dreaded and not so much described and due to a reject of abnormal retinal correspondence when, in concomitant squint, the functional scotoma is small. The second image is indistinct and seen froma a side angle without error of localization. Some indications are given to reduce the persistent diplopia discomfort.
