JFO n° 21UN TRAITEMENT DE LA DÉVIATION VERTICALE DISSOCIÉE PAR DÉNEUTRALISATION EN PROCHE PÉRIPHÉRIE

Résumé : Dans les D.V.D., nous tentons de déneutraliser une aire rétinienne périphérique d'un oeil en handicapant l aire périphérique homologue de l'autre oeil par un "secteur filtre" rouge, placé sur la Licorne. Exercices aux livrets de Weiss et aux livrets géographiques pour stimuler l'attention. Les résultats préliminaires montrent des diminutions rapides parfois aboutissant à la disparition des déviations intermittentes. L'évolution est suivie à l'aide du "cadran solaire".

Summary : In case of dissociated vertical deviation (D.V.D.), we try to deneutralise a peripheral retinal area by handicaping the corresponding symmetrical peripheral area of the other eye. We use a quadrantic red filter sector placed on the Unicorn Frame. Then the patient can exercice himself with Weiss's booklets as well as the geographical booklets which help attracting his attention. Our preliminary results show an early improvement of the condition and sometime the disappearance of the D.V.D. The whole evolution and improvement of the condition is followed on the " sundial ".
