JFO n° 27Á PROPOS DU FORT HYPERMÉTROPE AMBLYOPE

Résumé : Les auteurs rapportent 18 cas d'enfants strabiques fort hypermétropes et étudient la corrélation entre la puissance de l'amétropie et l'existence d'une amblyopie et d'une déviation strabique. A côté d'ésotropies souvent bien compensées par une correction optique totale, il faut noter l'existence d'exotropies et surtout d'amblyopies moyennes et profondes de récupération difficile et imparfaite.

Summary : The authors report 18 cases of strabic high hypermetrope children and study the correlation between the power of ametropia and existence of an amblyopia and strabismus. Beside esotropia often well stabilized by total optical correction, it's important to note the existence of exotropia and especially for average or strong amblyopia with difficult and imperfect recuperation.
