Résumé : 316 patients présentant des problèmes rachidiens, visuels et mandibulaires associés ont été examinés dans notre service. Un examen orthoptique détaillé a été complété par l'étude de la fixation fovéolaire à l'aide du Scanning Laser Ophtalmoscope et par l'enregistrement des saccades par la méthode de l'EOG dynamique, ceci afin de tenter d'évaluer les troubles de répartition du tonus musculaire. Une prismation de faible valeur à arête homonyme d'action horizontale sur les deux yeux a été proposée aux patients en fonction de critères objectifs bien précis et nous vous présentons les résultats de ce traitement prismatique.

Summary : 316 patients with postural deficiency and cranio-mandibular syndrome associated with visual disturbs have been examinated in our Departement. We complete the ophtalmological and orthoptic exams by the study of the foveolar fixation with a scanning laser ophtalmoscope and by the saccadic recording to search for asymmetrical velocity graphs induced by disturbed distribution of tonicity. In fonction of these objective tests, we act upon the postural system by using symetric small power prisms, with horizontal action and homonimous top (vertex) on the both eyes.
