JFO n° 32NOUVELLE MÉTHODE POUR AMÉLIORER L'AMPLITUDE DE FUSION À L'AIDE D'EXERCICES DE STIMULATION DE L'AMPLITUDE D'ACCOMODATION

Résumé : Présentation d'une technique orthoptique associant des exercices de stimuation (lecture d'un texte attrayant pour le patient, à l'aide de verres négatifs, en vision monoculaire) à des exercices de fusion dans l'espace. La convergence de loin et de prés a augmenté de 23,5 et 24,9 dioptries prismatiques après 6 séances. Un contrôle un et deux mois après la fin du traitement constate le maintien de ces bons résultats.

Summary : Our orthoptic exercise associated accommodation exercise using negative lenses of progressive power, dioptre by dioptre, first an eye and then the other, wile the congener eye is occluded, at the same time a pleasant book is read, with fusion exercises in the space. The convergence for far and near increased 23,5 and 24,9 prism dioptres at the end of six sessions of exercises. This fusion amplitude maintained 1 and 2 months after the end of treatement.
